I believe that with my space and face book that there is not much security of personal information, but if you do not want people to know it then you should not post it. The security of the internet seems to be fairly secure if one pays attention to the sites that they give out personal information on. Most security systems tell you if the site is secure or not. But if a thief wants to get information they usually can with knowledge of the secure websites.
